Phil Bennett filled in 5 letters on his puzzle: one G, two M’s and two I’s. He had the first 3 words figured out but that last one stayed out of reach. Same thing with the $35,000 the card.

Chrystal Davis-Evans added a G and an H to the bonus puzzle, one letter in each word. It wasn’t much help though, when the G can have a soft or hard sound. She missed out on the Jeep Cherokee, but her substantial winnings in the main game were nothing to frown about!

Stephanie Weyant spun the million dollar wheel tonight. She then only added one consonant, a P, to her vowel-laden puzzle. As luck would have it, her vowel pick wasn’t up there either. That still gave her the last word but not the first. She didn’t win the extra $35K on the card. Pat Sajak seemed so relieved that it wasn’t a repeat of the Zucchini Affair, that he almost forgot to show the location of the million dollar wedge.
